Job Description
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic Barista to join our team! As the face of our coffee shop, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere our guests have come to love.
This is more than just making coffee — it’s about building community, one cup at a time.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages (including traditional Turkish coffee)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace
- Greet customers with warmth and genuine hospitality
- Take customer orders, handle payments, and manage the POS system efficiently
- Memorize drink recipes and follow proper preparation techniques
- Keep track of inventory and assist in restocking supplies
- Support opening and closing procedures as needed
- Engage with customers and remember regulars by name
- Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred (but we’re willing to train the right person)
- Passion for coffee and curiosity about different brewing methods, including Turkish coffee
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A warm and friendly attitude — you’re someone who makes others feel welcome
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
